Sister Cities
Neuss maintains close contact with four sister cities. The oldest partnership with the city of Châlons-en-Champagne dates back to 1972. Partnerships with the cities Pskov and Rijeka were established in 1990. The agreement with Saint Paul, Minnesota in the U.S. was signed in 1999. There then followed the sister city partnership agreements with Nevşehir and Bolu, signed in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
